MAGIC Trade Fashion Show: Glamour U.S.A.
Imagine the top three fashion capitals of the world Æ Milan, Paris, & New York Æ converging in Las Vegas twice a year to showcase the best in fashion. From Gucci to Louis Vuitton to Sean John to Akademiks, the MAGIC Trade Fashion Show provides an exclusive inside look at the season's next fashion trends. Hosting almost 700,000 square feet of footwear, apparel, and accessories, MAGIC fills the entire Las Vegas convention center! Attendees consist of global buyers, CEOs, designers and even actors and rappers.
Automotive Rhythms spent most of the time in the Streetwear section, where you could find Akademiks, Gilyard, Timberland, ENYCE, LRG, Live Mechanics, FUBU, Rocawear, and many more. Overall, the show is simply a wonderland for connoisseurs of fine clothing. Walk inside some of the booths and you'll mistake the setting for a boutique on 5th Avenue; literally. And you must be an invited guest to see the goods.
On the car scene actor Terrance Howard came through for a photo session with 310 Motoring. They had the Aston Martin DB9 Volante sitting pretty out front. Rapper Fabolous got a quick glance of Live Mechanic's dressing room. West Coast Customs was in the house as well as DUB. Even Converse was representing. Everybody was out there. And everybody had on those Nike Air Force 1's including me with the new sky blue joints. The matching blue and white track jacket from Akademiks completed my ensemble. Too bad I couldn't take some of the gear with me. I hear MAGIC in August tops the February show. See you then.
