Automotive Rhythms Washington Auto Show VIP Party
For the second straight year Automotive Rhythms (AR) teamed up with automaker Infiniti, The Washington Auto Show and spirit maker Courvoisier to present a true “Red Carpet” experience hosted by AR’s Kimatni Rawlins and IDC’s Ra-Ra for AR’s Annual Washington Auto Show Kick-off VIP Party & Reception. The beautiful people including Washington Wizard Andray Blatche overflowed at what is quickly becoming one of the capital’s hippest hotspots - Next Door - the glamorous addition to D.C. institution Ben’s Chili Bowl.
The feeling of exclusivity started at the door, where party goers were greeted by an Infiniti G37 hard top convertible, setting off the evening’s grown and sexy vibe. Inside, revelers enjoyed signature drinks provided by Courvoisier including “Hot Shots” and “Street Car Named Desire,” as well as cuisine by Hell’s Kitchen winner Chef Rock, who now mans the kitchen at Next Door.
On display were a bevy of Ridemakerz custom cars as the centerpieces. The miniature vehicles — built by AR’s team members and friends during Kimatni’s 2nd Annual Super Bowl Party — kept with the events theme, and like many hot cars they proved irresistible since some attendees snuck a few home despite “do not remove” signs. Others were auctioned off and some made it to AR’s display at the auto show. Visit www.Ridemakerz.com for more information.
After enjoying custom libations and spontaneous dance battles erupting throughout the venue to the sounds of DJ Supa Scotty, patrons got an extra bonus with XM and DTLR gift bags filled with goodies provided by FedEx, Universal Music, J Records, Vibe magazine, Ridemakerz, Courvoisier and Parish clothing. And as a bonus, four lucky attendees won sets of Goodyear tires and JBL audio sound docking units for their iPod while everyone else in the house received tickets to the show. You know how we do at Automotive Rhythms. It’s The Urban Automotive Experience!
